Dr. J. Cameron Monroe (jcmonroe@ucsc.edu) is an Assistant Professor in Anthropology at UC Santa Cruz. He has a decade of archaeological experience in the Republic of Bénin, and is director of the Abomey Plateau Archaeological Project (http://people.ucsc.edu/~jcmonroe/UCSC-APAP/Home.html).
