Accommodations
Students will alternatively live in a project house in Ollanta and a comfortable hostel in the Cuzco, former capital of the Inca Empire. Certain trips will require overnight stays in hostels. UCLA Summer Sessions reserves the right to change the housing location. Should this become necessary, we will arrange comparable accommodations elsewhere.Meals
Monday through Friday, breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided by the program. Students are responsible for their weekend meals.
Please let us know when you apply for this program if you have special dietary needs, as well as any medical or physical conditions. We will advise you accordingly.
Excursions
This course will allow for visitation of nearly every site of cultural and historical significance. Students are encouraged to visit other sites on the weekends and take advantage of the multitude of outdoor activities offered in this region through local tour agencies.
