Project Directors
Dr. Steve Bourget is associate professor in the department of Art and Art History at the University of Texas, Austin. Steve specializes in Moche archaeology and iconography, and has conducted field excavations at Huaca de la Luna (Moche Valley) and Huancaco (Virú Valley).
Bruno Alva Meneses is a member of the Museo Tumbas Reales de Sipán. Mr. Alva recently collaborated to the museological display at the newly constructed site museum at Sipán.
Kimberly L. Jones is a Ph.D. candidate at the in the department of Art and Art History at the University of Texas, Austin. Ms. Jones specializes in Cupisnique iconography and has participated in archaeological projects in Cumbemayo (Cajamarca), Chavín de Huántar (Ancash) and Huaca el Pueblo (Zaña Valley).
