Dr. Aaron A. Burke assistant professor of the archaeology of ancient Israel in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures at UCLA, is also co-director of the Jaffa Cultural Heritage Project and will oversee fieldwork operations. Dr. Martin Peilstöcker, the lead research archaeologist for Jaffa in the Israel Antiquities Authority, is co-director of the Jaffa Cultural Heritage Project.
