Accommodations
An option will be available for camping on-site in Lyminge. Students must come equipped with their own tents, sleeping bags etc.Meals
Breakfast, lunch, and evening meals will be provided Monday-Friday. Students are responsible for their weekend meals.Please let us know when you apply for this program if you have special dietary needs, as well as any medical or physical conditions. We will advise you accordingly.
Excursions
Students will be able to benefit from two organized field trips. The first will take place in Canterbury including visits to Christ Church Cathedral (the most celebrated in England), St. Augustine’s Abbey, and a host of other sites of historic interest within the city. The second will explore the Roman and Anglo-Saxon heritage of Kent with visits to the Roman shore forts of Richborough and Reculver and several medieval rural churches.This program has limited free time for independent sightseeing. Please consult with the faculty about independent travel during the program.
