Dr. Gabor Thomas is lecturer in Early Medieval Archaeology at the University of Reading, along with Oxford and Cambridge one of the top-rated archaeology departments in England based upon the quality of its research. He is co-director of ‘Landscapes of Conversion: Monastic Settlements in Anglo-Saxon Kent’, an umbrella project of which the Lyminge excavations form a part.
