Archaeology Ecuador Overview

Investigate massive Inka fortresses and indigenous pyramids while enjoying the excitement of living in one of the most famous Spanish haciendas in Ecuador. Join UCLA and Ecuadorian students for an incredible seventh year of field work at Pambamarca. Research and training will focus on using ground-penetrating radar, excavations of architecture and survey of Inca road systems in the Andes, including GIS implementation.

This project offers students the unique opportunity to conduct an independent research projects using data gathered during the field project. This is part of our continuing effort to offer the most complete field school experience in the world.
