You are responsible for making your own travel arrangements.
We recommend that you fly directly to the local airport (IQQ) to reach Iquique. The most convenient way is to fly there from Santiago, the Chilean capital.
A number of airlines fly to Iquique. The best prices are typically associated with the purchase of an international flight originating in the US and ending in Iquique. Both LanChile and American Airlines fly to Chile from Los Angeles, and both airlines provide excellent connection services.
Please note that for all US passport holders there is a $100 entry fee to Chile. This fee is collected upon arrival to the international airport in Santiago, Chile.
