Travel
You are responsible for making your own travel arrangements to Catalina Island. You are expected to arrive before noon on July 15th in Avalon and will be met at the landing wharf. Ferries go to Avalon from Marina del Rey (
www.catalinaferries.com) and from several locations near Long Beach (
http://www.catalinaexpress.com/) including Dana Point, downtown Long Beach, and San Pedro. Students should arrange to leave from Avalon on August 19th, 2009.
