Project Directors

Wendy Giddens Teeter, Ph.D. is the Curator of Archaeology at the UCLA Fowler Museum.  She is also a research associate at the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology and a lecturer in the UCLA American Indians Studies IDP.

Douglas Comer, Ph.D is the Principal of Cultural Site Research and Management.  For two decades he was chief of the National Park Service Applied Archaeology Center and he authored Ritual Ground.

Desireé Reneé Martinez is a research associate with the Peabody Museum and is an archaeology doctoral candidate at Harvard University. She is a Gabrielino (Tongva) tribal member.
