Travel

You are responsible for making your own flight arrangements to Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport (EVN). Students will be meet at the airport by project staff and transferred to the Dvin field house.  No US carriers fly to Armenia.  Best connections are through Europe and many European-based airlines operate direct service to Yerevan.  British Airways, British Midland International, Aeroflot, and Austrian Airlines are all viable options.    

Visa Requirements (if any):

A valid passport is required to enter and depart Armenia.  An entry visa is required for tourist or business visits. U.S. citizens may purchase visas for a stay of up to 21 days online at the Armenian Foreign Ministry Web site for the fee of $60. At this time a visa valid for 120 days may also be obtained upon arrival at the port of entry for the fee of 15,000 Armenian Drams. Visas for up to 120 days may be purchased at the Armenian Embassy in Washington, D.C. or the Consulate General in Los Angeles for the fee of $69.  For more information, visit the Embassy of Armenia’s Web site or the US State Department Web page.
